THE 88TH USHIRIKA DAY CELEBRATIONS

The 88th Ushirika Day Celebrations was held on 3rd July 2010. The theme for this year was “Co-operative Enterprise Empowers women.” The Ushirika day celebrations is a day when the Co-operative fraternity in Kenya calls to attention the progress and development achieved by the Co-operative movement over the years. During the celebrations, Afya Sacco was recognized and awarded a certificate for being the most improved Sacco in the country.

THE ANNUAL DELEGATES CONFERENCE

The 30TH Annual Delegates Conference was held on Saturday 24th April 2010 at Kenyatta International Conference Centre. The Chief Guest was The Permanent Secretary Ministry for Co-operative Development and Marketing Mr. Seno Nyakenyanya. In his speech the, Permanent Secretary praised the society for the impressive performance as attested by the economic indicators whereby the society witnessed phenomenal growth in share capital and deposits.
